*   Because of the many similarities in this time period, i.e. culture and other evidences, the time of Job seems best to fit here.

**   Since David and his son, Solomon, composed this poetic and wisdom literature in the main, reading it during their time is intended to give better understanding of its context.

***   Dates given above are proposed dates of the beginning work of the individual. EXAMPLE: Isaiah's ministry beginning 760 B.C., continuing beyond the Northern Kingdom's fall to Assyria in 721. Hence he is active in King Hezekiah's day in the Southern Kingdom, 710. This should serve the serious reader in a fuller understanding of the prophet's message as it corresponds to the events of I & II Kings and I & II Chronicles, as well as post-captivity writings and times.
