In His Presence

Prayer Meditation 10
Do Not Trust Your Emotions To Indicate Your Need For Prayer.

Prayer should not be awaited to arise from one's emotions. However, emotions may evolve from one's genuine spirit of prayer. Praying is contrary to the body's natural instincts, therefore, to wait until one feels like praying may lead one never to pray, or seldom pray at all. Often, when one's spirit overrides the soul's indifference to prayer and begins praying against the body's will, the soul is overcome with conviction, resulting in repentance, confession, forgiveness, and renewed joy, all in an instant, in a moment in His Presence.

THIS IS PRAYER!
To Be Obedient To Your Spirit And Not Your Flesh When Hearing The Call To Prayer, Not Waiting Upon The Dictates Of Your Emotions.
AND SO PRAY:
"Father, bless the desire of my heart to override the will of my emotions as I respond to your call to prayer."
