Group Exercise

Keeping in mind the preceding lesson, lead the group now into a time of reflection and commitment. Begin the exercise with a brief look at 5 final passages of Scripture.

Depending on the group size, it is sometimes more productive to subdivide the group and assign each 1 of the following topics for discussion. After a period, assemble as one and began individual subgroup presentations.

Time is at the discretion of the group leader. However, this exercise should not just be tacked on at the end of the preceding lesson. It should be presented with the same devotion as the previous study. It is now when attitudes, opinions, and commitments are affected and effected.

II.
QUESTIONS FOR IDENTIFYING THE PROBLEM.
  A.
To address the topic of valuing human life, it must be said that what led us to this is the prior devaluing of human life. If human life is devalued, when do you think it began on that course that led us to here?
  B.
What are the causes, as you see them, that brought about this devaluing of human life?

III.
QUESTIONS FOR IDENTIFYING THE SOLUTIONS.
  A.
What can I do specifically as an individual to make a difference in my world around me?
  B.
What can we do specifically as a local church (group) to make a difference in our own community and the world at large?
