Christians Say They're Seeking But Not Having Evangelistic Conversations
"Christians Express A Desire To Talk About Their Faith, Yet Few Have Shared With Someone How To Become A Christian In The Past Six Months."
"In the past six months, few Christians say they have shared with a non-Christian loved one (38%) or a stranger (30%) how to become a Christian, according to an @EEvangelism and @LifewayResearch study."
Lifeway's study of April 2022 has revealed a treasure trove of data about the state of Christianity's personal outreach in America. While much of what is found is encouraging there are some very disturbing trends that have developed during these past two years of upheaval in our life's routines. In many ways, our priorities have taken a hit. On this page I have provided access to this invaluable personal evangelism study. I encourage you to take your time as you examine each question, answer and analysis. It may be you will use it as a motivation for reexamining your own priorities as they have been tested and affected by this time of physical restraint on your activities. You may be in leadership in some capacity and will find valuable information to apply to your own field of ministry. For me, the most telling find was the abysmally low number who have shared with a stranger, and loved one or friend, the Good News of Jesus' life and sacrifice for so great salvation—just 30 and 38% respectively. In any case, I hope you will find this feature I've provided beneficial.
