Christians Kneeling

The posture of the man in shorts says it all! Christians, think of what you are doing. Where do you get a sound Biblical basis for these actions? Tell me. There is none. What next, you have to kiss someone's feet while you're kneeling before them? Wait, they are already requiring you to do this.

Contrast this position taken with that of the Christian Georgia Highway Patrol Sergeant just recently when a similar group ordered him to kneel before them. He knows this. One in the audience knew this when he refused, saying he bows before no man, only one, and that being God. This is nothing but cult behavior, actions required to join and be a member of a cult. Study it. Know what you are being asked before agreeing. Do this. Imagine yourself in this position at the moment of Jesus' return. Suppose what He would think? How would you feel?

The day is soon coming, as described in Revelation, when you will be asked to bow before another other than Jesus Himself. It also warns of the consequences if you do. All this today is to desensitize you for the day when you will be faced with that dreadful decision. Having bowed before, the decision coming will seem then not so bad as it would if it were the first.

In addition, this action, kneeling, is an act of penance—in this case for something you are not guilty. You cannot repent for another's sin. Even if you were guilty, as a born again believer, Holy Scripture no where teaches that one must perform an act of penance to another for their forgiveness. I repeat, there is not such thing as penance. it was made up from less than whole cloth by the Catholic Church—an act demonstrative of repentance. Penance is not repentance, nor the state of penitence toward sin. For one to require of another such antithetical action puts a stumbling block before them and, if it were possible, many would rather just give up their little faith than submit.

Think about it, before you require it of someone, and if you obey another to do it.
