Think On This
Karine-Jean-Pierre-Suzanne-Malveaux
"I'm proud to be an out Black Queer woman and I have been for quite some time. I'm happy to say, my Mother is now proud of ALL of who I am; she loves my partner and she loves being a doting grandmother to the daughter we are raising. My journey towards feeling accepted by myself and loved ones wasn't an easy one, but it was worthwhile. No matter where you are in your journey, I see you, we see you and we celebrate you – Happy Pride!"   — Karine Jean-Pierre
"I'm obviously aware that my presence at this podium represents a few firsts. I am a black, gay, immigrant woman–the first of all three of those to hold this position. I would not be here today if were not for generations of barrier breaking people before me. I stand on their shoulders."   — Karine Jean-Pierre – https://twitter.com/townhallcom/status/1526281286469443585
A Common Thread In A Fallen Society
ADAM2.ORG - May 6, 2022 — No better image could depict the moral state of our nation than this. History reminds us that we are following the same path all nations before us trod in their last days. It can be seen in the Old Testament Biblical times even with Israel. The text tells us in the cycle of their many kings this perversion of God's natural law ran rampant in each period prior to their fall—all the way to the top of its government. We can see one clear example of this national cycle of moral rot in the time of King Josiah, 15th king of Judah (639-609 BC). II Kings chapter 23 records the account where the "Sodomites" lived in "apartments" next to the house of the Lord in his day before he renewed the land and drove them out. Target promoting gender dysmorphia There, abutting the streets leading up to and alongside the Temple, "booths" with walls of curtains made by the women were erected in great numbers where man or woman, many times husband and wife, went in to satisfy their sexual fantasies and lust of their flesh. One can only imagine the scene and sounds emanating from within the sheer walls of fabric—no fit place for families or children—right next to Solomon's Temple, God's House of Prayer! I'm not equating the Whitehouse with Israel's House of Worship but it is the seat of our government as the Temple represented the seat of government for Israel. In that respect the parallel can be drawn. The unnatural practice had become a common thread in their fallen society. In case one might say that was way back in old Testament times, I say, true. But I also say God does not change nor does He on the way He looks at sin. If He condemned it then He condemns it now! Paul validates this in his opening words in his letter to the Romans (1:22-26). Rachel Levine If one were to look for a root cause of this phenomenon, in our day, I'm afraid the trail would lead us to the door of the church. Most of us have heard the Bible say, "where there is no vision the people perish (Proverbs 29:18a)." Vision for the moral and spiritual health of a people, a nation, must emanate from its spiritual leaders. This means the pastor of every local church. Because of the decline and failure of sound Biblical preaching of the gospel of Christ, the necessary redemption of men, repenting and turning from sin, we are in a final state of decay. The consequence of this pastoral complacency has led to governments passing laws that make it illegal to offend the sensibilities of a coddled generation today. So the false shepherds cower while, unfortunately, millions die daily and fall headlong into the pits of hell where there is nothing but torment and the absence of God without the possibility of future redemption. Just as it was in Josiah's day, there can be but one answer to the current state of our nation—a turning from sin and a renewal in relationship with our Creator. When will that cry come from the Jumbotrons within the palatial walls of today's churches? Is there no Josiah in our day, O Lord, who would lead our people to repent and seek your ways? Unfortunatel, Biden is no Josiah! How long must we suffer the wicked to rule us? Come quickly, Lord Jesus. Come quickly!
