Given the most recent over reach of their authority by this appointed branch of government, who enjoys the security of a life-time appointment, this question should now be seriously considered.
I can't believe I am actually proposing this. I have always regarded the wisdom of our founding fathers to be providentially guided. Therefore, I arrive at this opinion with much angst, but more so, anger—anger that the Court would act in such a lawless way in matters that clearly are not stipulated in our Constitution nor are they theologians or scientists to arrive at a consensus of opinion of what is fact about the number of biological sexes.
This current class of Justices have made the case of term limits for us. This once revered body is now making up law and inflicting it upon us without our consent. Thank you Roberts and Gorsuch! As to the length of that term, that should be derived from the court of public opinion after much debate among the public and our elected public representatives. Without giving my reasoning, personally, twelve years seem just about right.
Oh, one other thing. Not all jurists who are worthy of sitting on this illustrious bench graduate from the Northeastern Ivy League schools who are known for their liberal bias. There are many who come from schools more closely connected to the hard working men and women of our great country. It is time to look within their ranks for those who know and appreciate our history and the importance of the document they take a solemn oath to uphold. Does that oath not mean anything to them? And we wonder why the people no longer have a high opinion of our government leaders.
