Isaac summons, blesses, and sends Jacob to homeland (Haran) for a wife from house of Laban, brother of mother, Rebekah. (Jacob fears Esau.) Remains there 20 years. (31:38)

Esau sees father despise his wives, and marries an Ishmaelite (Mahalath).

(1732?) Isaac receives Jacob and family back from journeys from Laban.
