8 PRACTICAL WAYS TO OVERCOME TEMPTATION. |

Pray to avoid. (Avoid those known times, places, and events.) |

2. |
Quote scripture. (Any scripture you know to rebuke Satan) |

3. |
Sing a melody of praise to the Holy Father. (Keep repeating if necessary.) |
|
4. |
Open and read His Word. (Aloud if possible) |
|
5. |
Call a praying friend. |
|
6. |
Do something in service for someone in Jesus' name. |
|
7. |
Be aware of His constant presence with you, in every moment and every thought
(
II Co.10:5). |
|
8. |
Finally, just say NO! in Jesus' name. And walk away! (Staying alert all the while looking for that promised avenue of escape) |

Remember, great victories most often come from small battles won. So, deal with temptations as they present
themselves for that moment. God will strengthen again for the next. Do not try to lump them into one giant
