John Chapter 13:31-14:31

III.
CONCLUDING COMMENTS.

14:3

10:18
A.
See this lesson demonstrated by Christ prior to His teaching it. Before they entered this upperroom, two had been sent ahead to make ready this feast and intimate fellowship. Only after all things had been prepared did they enter. So too is He sent before us to prepare for our arrival in that "Upperroom," and when all things are prepared for us, and in us, we will be summoned, nay, escorted by Jesus Himself. As He knew His Hour and operated in full confidence, so too should we work His works without fear, knowing that our "hour" is in His hand and not another's. No one can take our life until the Father is ready for us, and then we will be given the gift of making that crossing into our new topos prepared especially by Him for us!
(Mt.26:17-20, Mk.14:12-18, Lk.22:7-15)

TRUTH:
A THIEF MAY ROB US, A MURDERER MAY KILL US, BUT NOTHING, NOR ANYONE CAN TAKE AWAY WHAT JESUS HAS PREPARED FOR US IN HIS ETERNAL SAFETY! (Mt.6:19-20)

John has vividly shown through Jesus' words there is hope in their (and our) darkest hour; abiding faith is the key. It will see them through and bring them unimaginable Power as newly adopted and authorized sons, such that the world has never seen, nor can now discern. It should come as no surprise now what He will next teach at length for a fuller understanding: that Abiding Faith and Power introduced in our current study. He is the Master.
