In His Presence

Prayer Meditation 20
When Praying, Remember, It Is The Condition Of The Heart And Not Necessarily The Position Of One's Body That Gains God's Attention, Thus Prompting Him To Answer.

However, the language of one's body should always match the words of one's heart in prayer. How often do our words say one thing while our body quite another, distracted or just plainly non-committed to the message of our words, often in a hurry to move on to the day's next duty. The body must always be obedient to one's spirit in making its journey into His presence, equally yoked by His Spirit. Anything less is confusion and hinders our communication. Sometimes you must stand, while at others you may sit. Hands raised with face heavenward, or hands folded with head bowed in humility; a shout, or soft whisper; on bended knee, or prostrate in His presence—all to be dictated solely by His Holy Spirit!

This Is Prayer
Body, Soul, and Spirit, All In Agreement, Speaking In Concert Without Conflicting Signals The Message Of One's Heart Translated By His Spirit For His Acceptance.
And So Pray:
"Father, may the words of my mouth and the attitude of my body agree with the meditation of my heart and be acceptable in your sight. Teach me to pray with all that I am—body, soul, and spirit—as one, united in your Spirit, transporting me into your Presence."
