- The voice of a bird is either that of a praise or prayer to God. Our lives should be so lived, taking no thought of the cares of the unpromised next moment!
- Prayer is not prayer unless it comes from a broken (humble) heart. A heart cannot be broken unless it is burdened. And then prayer gives wings to the burdened heart, giving heavenward flight to the throne of its Creator to lay its burdens at His feet. (Burdens or a full heart, whether of praise or petition.) (Ps.100; Mt.11:28-29)
