In His Presence

Preliminary Thoughts   Preliminary Thoughts
  1. He Hears Our Voices As Clearly As Those Of All His Creation. (Mat.6:26)
    The voice of a bird is either that of a praise or prayer to God. Our lives should be so lived, taking no thought of the cares of the unpromised next moment!
  2. Prayer is not prayer unless it comes from a broken (humble) heart. A heart cannot be broken unless it is burdened. And then prayer gives wings to the burdened heart, giving heavenward flight to the throne of its Creator to lay its burdens at His feet. (Burdens or a full heart, whether of praise or petition.) (Ps.100; Mt.11:28-29)
  3. Remember, Powerful Praying Is Generally Done In Private. (Mat.6:5-6)
    As Noah prayed from within his Ark through the single window above, Christ instructs us to enter our closets.
  4. And Satan Trembles When He Sees The Weakest Saint Upon His Knees.  - William Cowper
  5. FINAL THOUGHT:    No part of God's glorious creation is large enough to be a barrier to us in our coming to Him. The only obstacles to Him in our paths are those erected by our own selves. Prayer is the tool He gives to us whereby these walls may be broken down and we may appear—IN HIS PRESENCE!
  6. PRAYER IS SO SIMPLE:

    It is like quietly opening a door
    And slipping into the very presence of God,
    There in the stillness
    To listen to His Voice;
    Perhaps to petition
    Or only to listen:
    It matters not.
    Just to be there

    IN HIS PRESENCE

    Is Prayer!
